Nafrinse MM

Generic Name: SODIUM FLUORIDE 0.02% RINSE - DENTAL
Pronounced: (SO-dee-um FLOOR-ide)

Nafrinse MM Uses

This medication is used to prevent cavities. Fluoride works by making the teeth stronger and more resistant to decay caused by acid and bacteria.

Do not use this medication in children younger than 6 years unless directed to do so by your doctor/dentist.

How To Use Nafrinse MM

Use this rinse once daily (usually at bedtime) or as directed by your doctor/dentist. After brushing your teeth, place 2 teaspoonfuls (10 milliliters) of the solution into your mouth, rinse for 1 minute, and spit it out. Do not swallow the medication unless instructed to do so by your dentist/doctor.

Carefully watch children during use and teach proper rinsing habits to avoid swallowing. Dosage is based on age and the amount of fluoride in your drinking water.

For the most benefit, you should not eat, drink, or rinse your mouth for at least 30 minutes after using the solution.

Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day.
