Shark Fin Cartilage Oral Side Effects

Nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, changes in taste, or constipation may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur:

weakness
unusual tiredness
dizziness
increased thirst/urination
shakiness
mental/mood changes (e.g., confusion, nervousness)

Tell your doctor immediately if any of these rare but very serious side effects occur:

signs of liver disease (e.g., yellowing eyes/skin, severe stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea/vomiting, dark urine)

A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including:

rash
itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat)
severe dizziness
trouble breathing

Shark Fin Cartilage Oral Precautions

Before taking shark cartilage, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to chondroitin; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of:

high level of calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia)
diabetes
heart/blood vessel disease (e.g., peripheral vascular disease)
kidney disease
liver disease
recent surgery/injury

Liquid forms of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol. Caution is advised if you have diabetes, alcohol dependence, or liver disease. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about using this product safely.

This product is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your doctor for more details.

It is unknown if this product passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
