How To Use Haloperidol Lactate Inj

This medication is usually given by injection into a muscle by a healthcare professional. Your dose may be repeated as necessary to keep your symptoms under control. Dosage is based on your condition and response to therapy.

This medication may also be given by injection into a vein. Follow all instructions for proper mixing and dilution with the correct IV fluids. Before injecting each dose, clean the injection site with rubbing alcohol. Before using, check this medication visually for particles. If any are present, do not use the liquid.

The switch will usually occur within 12-24 hours from your last injection with this form of haloperidol.
