Estradiol Vagl

Generic Name: ESTRADIOL TABLET - VAGINAL
Pronounced: (ES-tra-DYE-ol)

Estradiol Vagl Uses

This medication is a female estrogen hormone (estradiol) and is usually given to women who no longer produce the amount of estrogen they produced before menopause. It is a very effective treatment for reducing vaginal menopause symptoms (e.g., dryness, burning, itching).

How To Use Estradiol Vagl

Follow the instructions and dosing schedule carefully.

Insert the applicator into the vagina as directed and push the plunger to release the medication. Insert one tablet vaginally once daily for the first two weeks and then one tablet twice a week, or as directed by your doctor. It is best to schedule each dose about the same time of the day.

Inform your doctor if your symptoms persist or worsen.
