Bacteriostatic Saline Inj Uses

This product is used as a mixing solution (diluent) for powdered medications given by injection. It may also be used to flush and clear vein injection tubes (IV lines) or feeding tubes to keep them from becoming blocked. Sodium chloride for injection is available as pre-filled syringes and vials. It is also available with or without a preservative (benzyl alcohol).



How To Use Bacteriostatic Saline Inj

Before using this solution, learn all directions for preparation and usage. Inspect it visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, do not use the solution. If you are using this solution to mix a medication, make sure that it is proper to mix this type of solution with the medication.
