Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of:
- asthma
- abnormal breast exam
- family history of breast cancer
- cancer of the reproductive organs (e.g., cervix, uterus)
- frequent use of alcohol/tobacco
- depression
- diabetes
- eating disorder (anorexia)
- heart disease (e.g., chest pain, heart failure)
- high blood pressure
- kidney disease
- high cholesterol
- irregular/missed/light menstrual periods
- migraine
- personal/family history of bone disease (e.g., osteoporosis)
- seizures
Before having surgery, including dental surgery, tell your doctor or dentist that you are using this medication.
This medication must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, tell your doctor immediately. It may take longer for you to get pregnant after you stop using this medication. Consult your doctor for more information.
This drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
