Ovace Top Uses

This medication is used to treat dandruff and other skin conditions (e.g., seborrheic dermatitis). It is also used to treat certain bacterial skin infections associated with these conditions.

How To Use Ovace Top

This medication is for use on the skin only. Avoid getting any of this medication in the eyes, nose, or mouth.

Use twice daily for 8 to 10 days or as directed by your doctor. If you are applying the medication to the scalp, your hair should be towel-dried or dry before use. Shake the can well before use. Turn the can upside down to deliver a small amount of the medication onto your hand. Gently massage the medication with your fingers into the affected area until the foam disappears, allowing the area to air dry. Wash your hands after applying the foam. Do not wash the treated area immediately after applying the foam. You may use hair styling products after the foam has been applied.

As your condition improves, your doctor may direct you to continue treatment less frequently to keep it under control (once/twice weekly or every other week). If your condition does not improve or worsens after 2 weeks, contact your doctor for further instructions.

This medication is flammable. Avoid fire, flame, or smoking during use.

To help you remember, use this medication at the same times each day.
