Cardizem IV Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe dizziness/fainting, fast/irregular/very slow heartbeat, confusion.

Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., liver function tests, heart exam, blood pressure, electrocardiograms) may be performed to monitor your progress or check for side effects. Consult your doctor for more details.
Cardizem IV Storage
Store the vials in the refrigerator between 36-46 degrees F (2-8 degrees C) away from light and moisture. The vials may also be stored at room temperature for up to 1 month. The single-dose syringes should be stored at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C). Once the powder from the vial/syringe has been mixed with the solution, the product can be stored at room temperature for 24 hours. If the drug is added to a larger volume of solution, it can be stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator at 36-46 degrees F (2-8 degrees C) for up to 24 hours. Do not freeze. Discard any unused solution after 24 hours.
Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company for more details about how to safely discard your product.
