Ertapenem IV Overdose

Ertapenem IV Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Ertapenem IV Storage

Before mixing, store the dry powder at room temperature below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light and moisture.

After mixing the solution for injection into a vein, use immediately or you may store the solution according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not freeze mixed solutions.

After mixing the solution for injection into a muscle, use/discard the mixed solution within 1 hour.
