FeoGen FA Oral Drug Interactions

Your healthcare professionals (e.g., doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of any possible drug interactions and may be monitoring you for them. Do not start, stop or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially:

  • certain anti-seizure drugs (e.g., phenytoin)
  • chloramphenicol
  • levodopa
  • methyldopa
  • penicillamine
  • quinolone antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin)
  • thyroid drugs (e.g., levothyroxine)



Avoid taking this medication at the same time as antacids or tetracycline antibiotics. Wait at least 2 hours between taking this medication and an antacid or tetracycline.

This medication may interfere with certain laboratory tests (tests for blood in the stools), possibly causing false test results. Make sure laboratory personnel and all your doctors know you use this drug.
