Hydralazine Inj Uses
Hydralazine injection is used with or without other medications to treat high blood pressure. It may also be used in an emergency to treat dangerously high blood pressure. This medication may be used when medications cannot be taken by mouth. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Hydralazine is called a vasodilator and works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily.
How To Use Hydralazine Inj
This medication is usually given in the hospital by a health care professional by injection into a muscle or vein, as directed by your doctor. It may be given as often as needed.
Before giving this medication, learn all directions for preparation and usage. Inspect it visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, do not use the liquid. Use the medication immediately after opening the vial. Do not mix with any other fluids for injection.
Your health care professional should observe you while you are receiving all doses injected into a vein. Your blood pressure and heartbeat will be monitored regularly while you are receiving this medication.
