Twinject Autoinjector IM Interactions

Your healthcare professionals (e.g., doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of any possible drug interactions and will monitor you for them after you receive epinephrine. Do not start, stop or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially of:

  • anti-arrhythmic drugs (e.g., amiodarone, quinidine)
  • beta-blockers (e.g., propranolol)
  • digoxin
  • entacapone
  • ergot alkaloids (e.g., ergotamine)
  • MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine)
  • phenothiazines (e.g., chlorpromazine)
  • thyroid hormones (e.g., levothyroxine)
  • tricyclic antidepressants (e.g., amitriptyline, doxepin)
  • "water pills" (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide)
