Flaxseed Oil Oral Interactions
If you are taking this product under your doctor's direction, your doctor or pharmacist may already be aware of any possible drug interactions and may be monitoring you for them. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with your doctor or pharmacist first.
Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially of:
- drugs for diabetes (e.g., metformin, sulfonylureas such as glipizide, glitazones such as pioglitazone)
- medications/other herbal products that may increase your risk of bleeding (e.g., "blood thinners" such as warfarin and heparin, anti-platelet drugs such as clopidogrel and ticlopidine, herbs such as danshen/garlic/ginger/ginkgo)
