Zemaira IV Side Effects
Fever (occurring up to 12 hours after receiving the medication), dizziness, headache, sore throat, cough, drowsiness, and pain at the injection site may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects.
This medicine may make you more likely to be infected with a certain virus (parvovirus B19). Tell your doctor immediately if you notice symptoms of an infection such as fever, chills, and stuffy nose followed by rash and joint pain (usually within 2 weeks).
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, stop receiving the drug and seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including:
- hives
- itching
- swelling
- chest tightness
- trouble breathing
- severe dizziness
- feeling faint
