FiberCon Oral Warning

This product must be taken with adequate liquids so that it will not swell in the throat, causing choking. Do not use this product if you have problems swallowing. After taking this product, if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing, seek immediate medical attention.

Bloating, gas, or stomach cramps may also occur. These effects usually decrease with smaller doses. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, remember that he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including:

• rash
• itching
• swelling
• severe dizziness
• trouble breathing
