Fibertab Oral Uses
This medication is used to treat constipation. Polycarbophil belongs to a class of drugs known as bulk-forming laxatives. It works by increasing the amount of water in the stool, making it softer and easier to pass.
How To Use Fibertab Oral
Take this medication by mouth, usually 1-4 times daily or as directed by your doctor. If you are taking chewable tablets, chew each tablet thoroughly before swallowing. Take each dose with at least 8 ounces (240 milliliters) of water or other liquid. Do not take for more than 7 days unless directed to do so by your doctor.
Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy.
Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time(s) each day. It may take 1-3 days for the full effect of this medication to occur.
Inform your doctor if your condition persists for more than 7 days or worsens while you are taking this product.
