Fungoid Top Uses

This medication is used to treat skin infections caused by fungus (e.g., athletes foot, ringworm). Miconazole tincture reduces the itching, peeling, and burning that may occur with these skin infections. This medication is an azole antifungal. It works by stopping the growth of fungus that causes the infection.

How To Use Fungoid Top

Read the information that comes with this product before you start using it and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Before application, clean and dry the treatment area(s) well. Using the brush provided, carefully apply a thin film of the medication to the entire affected area(s) twice daily (morning and evening) or exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are treating athletes foot, be sure to cover the full area of skin affected, including between the toes and around the nails.

Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.

Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same times each day. Most fungal skin infections may require up to 4 weeks of daily treatment.

Tell your doctor if your condition persists for more than 4 weeks or worsens during treatment.
