Zemplar IV Overdose

Overdose of any type of vitamin D is dangerous. If overdose is suspected, contact your poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US National Poison Hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canada residents can call a provincial poison control center.

Zemplar IV Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, contact your doctor to establish a new dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., blood levels of aluminum, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and parathyroid hormone) should be performed periodically to monitor your progress or check for side effects. Consult your doctor for more details.

Zemplar IV Storage

Store the US product at room temperature at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Brief storage between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) is permitted. Store the Canadian product at room temperature between 59-77 degrees F (15-25 degrees C) away from light.

For all brands of this product, do not freeze, and do not store in the bathroom. Discard any unused liquid after opening. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
