Rasburicase IV Overdose

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly.

Rasburicase IV Missed Dose

It is important that each dose be used as scheduled. If you miss a dose, contact your doctor immediately. He/she will establish a new dose schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

Laboratory tests (e.g., uric acid levels) should be performed to monitor your progress.

Rasburicase IV Storage

Store the medication in the refrigerator at 36 to 46 degrees F (2 to 8 degrees C). Do not freeze. Protect from light.

Once mixed, the medication may be stored for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator. Discard the medication if it is not given within 24 hours after mixing.

Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company for more details about how to safely discard your product.
