This medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths or sunlamps. Use a sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors.

This medicine may contain aspartame. If you have phenylketonuria (PKU) or any other condition where you must restrict your intake of aspartame (or phenylalanine), consult the doctor or pharmacist regarding the safe use of this medicine.

Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the side effects of the drug, especially stomach bleeding and kidney effects.

This medication should be used only when clearly needed during the first 6 months of pregnancy. It is not recommended for use during the last 3 months of pregnancy due to the potential for harm to an unborn baby and interference with normal labor/delivery. Discuss the risks and benefits with the doctor.

This medication passes into breast milk. While there have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult the doctor before breast-feeding.
