Salex Top Side Effects

Burning, redness, and peeling skin near the treated area may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

When used over large areas or continuously for a long time, this medication may be absorbed from the skin into the bloodstream, possibly resulting in serious side effects. Children younger than 12 and people with liver or kidney problems are more at risk. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these rare but serious side effects occur:

  • unexplained nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
  • rapid breathing
  • dizziness
  • hearing problems (e.g., ringing in the ears, hearing loss)
  • mental/mood changes
  • tiredness


A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include:

  • rash
  • itching
  • swelling
  • severe dizziness
  • trouble breathing
