Claforan Viaflex Plus IV Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US National Poison Hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canada residents can call a provincial poison control center. Symptoms of overdose may include: trouble breathing, seizures.
Claforan Viaflex Plus IV Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Do not share this medication with others.
This medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it later for another infection unless told to do so by your doctor. A different medication may be necessary in that case.
Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., complete blood count) may be performed periodically to monitor your progress or check for side effects. Consult your doctor for more details.
Claforan Viaflex Plus IV Storage
Before mixing, store the dry powder at room temperature below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. After mixing, store at room temperature or in the refrigerator at or below 41 degrees F (5 degrees C). If stored at room temperature, use/discard the mixed solution within 12-24 hours. If stored in the refrigerator, use/discard the mixed solution within 5-7 days. Consult the package instructions or your pharmacist for details.
Store the pre-mixed solution containers in the freezer at or below -4 degrees F (-20 degrees C). (For thawing instructions, see How to Use section.) The thawed solution may be stored in the refrigerator at or below 41 degrees F (5 degrees C) for up to 10 days. If stored at room temperature, use/discard the thawed solution within 24 hours.
Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company for more details about how to safely discard your product.
