Epinephrine (PF) Inj Uses
This medication is used to treat sudden/severe breathing problems (e.g., from asthma), severe allergic reactions from food/drugs/other substances, and certain heart problems (e.g., heart block/stoppage). It may also be used with certain anesthetics to help the numbing effects last longer.
This medication is the same as a certain natural chemical made by your body. It acts quickly to improve breathing, stimulate the heart, raise a dropping blood pressure, change the size of the blood vessels, reverse hives, and reduce swelling of the face, lips, and throat.
