Luminal Sodium Inj Overdose

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US National Poison Hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canada residents can call a provincial poison control center. Symptoms of overdose may include: dizziness, fainting, inability to wake up (coma), slowed breathing, bluish/cold skin.

Do not share this medication with others. It is against the law.

If you are using this drug for seizures and your doctor switches you to phenobarbital taken by mouth, keep all medical appointments so that your doctor can monitor your progress or check for side effects. For long-term use, laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., blood counts, liver/kidney tests, phenobarbital blood levels) should be performed periodically to monitor your progress or check for side effects. Consult your doctor for more details.
