Xyrem Oral Overdose

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US National Poison Hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canada residents can call a provincial poison control center. Symptoms of overdose may include: lack of response, trouble breathing, inability to control urine/stool.

Xyrem Oral Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember if it is before bedtime. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Do not share this medication with others. It may harm them, and it is against the law.

Keep all medical appointments. It is recommended that you visit your doctor at least every 3 months while taking this medication.

Xyrem Oral Storage

Store at room temperature at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Brief storage between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) is permitted. Prepare each dose just before bedtime. Use or properly discard prepared doses within 24 hours. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
