Theophylline works in the lungs to open airways and make breathing easier. Potassium iodide has been used as an expectorant to help loosen and break up mucous. This combination medication is used to treat breathing disorders.
How To Use Theophylline-Potassium Iodide Oral
This medication is usually taken after meals three times a day. Take each dose with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water, unless your doctor directs you otherwise.
Take this medication as prescribed. Do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.
