Licorice Oral Side Effects

Use of this product for long periods or at high doses may lead to high blood pressure, low levels of potassium in the blood, and other problems. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur:

• headache
• swelling hands/feet
• sudden unusual weight gain
• muscle cramps/pain/weakness
• irregular heartbeat
• change in the amount of urine
• dark urine
• trouble breathing
• severe tiredness

A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction:

• rash
• itching
• swelling
• severe dizziness
• trouble breathing
