Kalmtuss Dm Oral

Generic Name: PROMETHAZINE W/DEXTROMETHORPHAN - ORAL
Pronounced: (pro-METH-uh-zeen/dex-trow-meth-OR-fan)

Kalmtuss Dm Oral Warning

Promethazine should not be used in children younger than 2 years since it might cause serious (possibly fatal) slow/shallow breathing. This problem has occurred even with normal doses in this age group.

Seek immediate medical attention in the unlikely event that slow/shallow breathing occurs. Promethazine should not be used in children with liver disease (including possible Reye's syndrome).
