How should you take Clarinex?

Clarinex RediTabs should be placed on the tongue, where they dissolve quickly. Take the RediTabs immediately after removing them from the blister pack.

If you miss a dose...
Take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule. Never take 2 doses at the same time.

Store at room temperature. Protect from heat.
What side effects may occur?
Return to topSide effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Clarinex.

Dry mouth, fatigue, sleepiness, sore throat

Return to topIf Clarinex or the similar drug loratadine gives you an allergic reaction, you'll be unable to use this drug.
Special warnings about Clarinex
Return to topDo not increase the dose of this drug or take it more than once a day. Higher doses have no additional effect on hay fever symptoms and may cause drowsiness.
If you have the hereditary disease phenylketonuria, be aware that Clarinex RediTabs contain phenylalanine.

Special information if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
