If Dynabac is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Dynabac with the following:
- Antacids
- Cimetidine
- Famotidine
- Nizatidine
- Ranitidine
- Theophylline drugs such as theophylline and others
- Astemizole
- Blood-thinning drugs such as warfarin
- Bromocriptine
- Carbamazepine
- Cyclosporine
- Digoxin
- Disopyramide
- Ergot-containing drugs such as dihydroergotamine and ergotamine
- Lovastatin
- Phenytoin
- Triazolam
- Valproate

Symptoms of Dynabac overdose may include:
Diarrhea, nausea, stomach problems, vomiting
The following medications can interact with the related drug erythromycin:
Special information if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
Return to topIf you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, tell your doctor immediately. You should take Dynabac during pregnancy only if it is clearly needed. It is not known whether Dynabac appears in breast milk. If this medication is essential to your health, your doctor may advise you to stop breastfeeding until your treatment is finished.

Bronchitis and Skin Infections
The usual dose is 500 milligrams (2 tablets) once a day for 5 to 7 days.
Pneumonia
The usual dose is 500 milligrams (2 tablets) once a day for 14 days.
Strep Throat and Tonsillitis
The usual dose is 500 milligrams (2 tablets) once a day for 10 days.
CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE
The safety and effectiveness of Dynabac in children under the age of 12 have not been established.
Overdosage
