This liquid medication for children is an antihistamine/decongestant that relieves runny nose and nasal congestion caused by the common cold, inflamed sinuses, hay fever, and other upper respiratory conditions. Chlorpheniramine and pyrilamine, the antihistamines in the combination, reduce itching and swelling and dry up secretions from the eyes, nose, and throat. Phenylephrine, the decongestant, reduces congestion and makes breathing easier.

Do not confuse Rynatan-P pediatric suspension with Rynatan tablets. The tablets are an adult medication with a different set of active ingredients.
